During the 90s we had one TV in the house as the kids were growing up. Some folks asked why we never allowed the kids to have TVs in their bedrooms?
Our answer: because we enjoy seeing our children.
The earliest show I remember really looking for was Johnny Quest.
Sky King and Roy Rogers were fun as well. But nothing compared with Star Trek when it finally came along. Many of us felt cheated that the Enterprise did not complete her five year mission.

When I see the re-runs nowadays I say to myself "how fakey".
But then, again, I was only 5 when that series started.
