No fish were harmed but much fun was had. It was a beautiful day in February, pretty rare here 😎 saw a young girl catch a 4# Rainbow with a pink rod and power bait though. 😂😢

Envious. Getting some high water in our streams with the recent warming here in SE Oregon. I do need to work up some of those Power Bait flies.

Was a great day to be out for sure. All our rivers are running high and below the dams brown. This was just a stocked pond on a wildlife area. But there are some big pelletheads in it, or so they tell me. By mid day the available shore was crowded and us U-boat sailors where getting bombed by the bait and spinner fisherman. I thought a power bait fly would be the ticket too. Pink block of power bait with a red feather stuck in its backside on a size 12 hook. Ta-da 😂😂😂
