There are big pigs in East Texas in the river bottoms.
Take a big hole to bury them, or do you use for coyote bait?
We just toss 'em in a pile away from our ambush sites. I don't know what's eating them, maybe coyotes, buzzards, or even other hogs, or all three---but whatever it is has been well fed. Since about this time in 2021 there have been close to 300 hogs discarded there, and there might be a dozen or so recognizable carcasses at any given time. The ground is covered with bones. I'd say the average size is about 75 pounds.
Don't be the darkness.
America will perish while those who should be standing guard are satisfying their lusts.
we cut the skin open down a side to expedite. If not done have had somewhat full carcasses rotting. If sliced open its rare to find much left. And quickly. And a good place to shoot coyotes if I was so inclined
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
I found some, but got a stern warning about shooting them so close to a house.
Anyone else? Maybe BuzzH can give me a few pointers…
Why Buzz? You wanna learn about the Gay?
😂🤣
Houses are why we run 40 vmax in 223 quite often. Of course anyone would be a bit worried about the buildings. OTOH some let me shoot from their garages etc.. shooting away from of course. Its nice to shoot where you dont' have to worry.

It seems like pigs are everywhere until you want to shoot some. Where are easy pigs…
"The sun has riz ...and the sun has set. Here we is, In Texas yet!"
"I'm in Texas!" covers a LOT of territory. You're gonna have to be a bit more specific. Like, "Near Waco" or maybe, "Down by Beaumont". Maybe even a county.
"... Where are easy pigs? ..."
Try Palestine at the Zodiac down on Main! Lot'sa "hogs" there!
As for feral hogs? Ain't nothing "easy" about those filthy critters!
Last years lease was covered up with them. I hunted between Comstock and Pandale. I had two sets and every time the feeder went off, there' be at least 25 at each location. I couldn't kill enough of them fast enough and trapping them wasn't an option due to the distance from home to the lease. 5 hours one way. I got off that lease. Figured I was spending close to 6K/year including lease fee, corn, fuel, food, dog boarding, etc. just to kill pigs.
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!
We sold our Texas property or I woulda let you shoot all you wanted. If you had 3 days (nights), you were just about guaranteed to get into hogs. They were in almost nightly, but as has been said, they are unpredictable. I killed hell outa them for the 1st few years, and just got tired of dragging the bastards away. Too many fleas and ticks and etc. to wanna cut 'em up, although they can be damned good eatin', if you wanna bother with 'em. Gotta find someone who will trust you enough to let you set up on a feeder or food plot for a couple of evenings without trying to charge ya.

Good idea.
