When were Laredos made?
There is one on gunbroker that says ANIB
.300 mag
Says it was made in 1983.
Pic shows S/N to be G168746

DOM is incorrect. These were heavy barreled crf classics made mid 90s. They were not custom shop products as sometimes assumed.

AK, weren't those a collaboration of Wilson and H.S Precision, kind of like the Pushfeed Heavy varmint models. All the Laredo's I've seen were Classic CRF models though, like you say. Likely pretty good shooters too, as the Wilson barrels seemed to be pretty good back then.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Badger was another rumored maker but I’ve never seen confirmation.

I had one in 7 Rem Mag. That baby would flat shoot. Crazy accurate. Kinda like carrying a railroad timber though.

Thanks for the responses!
Finally got thru to Browning/Winchester and they confirmed 1996
What's a ANIB 1996 Laredo worth?

What's a ANIB 1996 Laredo worth? New in the box 300wm, about $1,000.00. If it were a 7STW, it would be worth quite a bit more.

Winchester's answer to the Remington Sendero "beanfield' rifle.
I dislike hate carrying mine until it's time to shoot ; - )
Mine is a 1995 7RM standard barrel (not the fluted or BOSS version) and it's crazy accurate too. Obviously heavy but very stable prone off a pack. I hunted mine a few years and then dropped it into a McMillan stock - I was bitching one time about weight until my bud pointed out a M24 was more... I wanted a fluted 7STW but pretty happy with what I have.
I agree with BSA about $1,000 BUT there have been some crazy GB auctions lately so maybe it could go higher.
