How’s the eye relief?

I was mildly interested in this Maven scope... until I saw the eye relief. It shows 60-79 mm at 2x and 60-81 mm at 10 x. No thanks.

I've been looking at the Maven scopes, seem to be a nice option and their prices are reasonable.

On your rig, if you don't mind my asking is there a reason the rear ring is over the ejection port and not moved back further on your rail? Seems it might be better spacing for that scope??

I wondered the same thing.

I read all the reviews on this and had a concern about it, scope arrived last night, mounted it and no issues with eye relief.

No reason. It can be moved back and will be moved back.

Looks great!! Keep us posted on your thoughts - I'm really thinking of putting one of those on a lighter weight .243. Should be a good combo.

I’d be very interested if the ER was better and it proves to adjust correctly and maintain zero.

There are few quality 1” scopes with a long enough tube for mounting on long actions.

Thank you. You Carry it and you don't even know it's there. And it has the same power of the 264 Winchester Magnum.
