Anyone have any experience with the Hawke Vantage 3-9x40 with illumination. Very intriguing scopes to me at Doug’s price point. Any reason not to buy? How does it compare to the now discontinued Burris Illuminated E1?

Chinese for sure.

I still have one.

Not Hawke but…
On the advice of someone I grabbed a Bushnell Engage 3-9x40 with illuminated center dot. Not huge $ but a solid rig with nice glass and eye relief for price. Also Chinese…

Walmart has a few of those scopes leftover. I bought one and it seems to work well. I just haven't shot the rifle much that I put it on. I think the Engage has been replaced with the Bushnell Prime. For $50 more as I recall.

Made in China. That's reason enough for me not to buy.

I have one on my Daystate Huntsman Revere air rifle and have been highly satisfied with it.

They’re pretty good for a China scope.I preferred the Endurance over the Vantage when I dabbled in them…

I guess I'll repeat myself possibly in this thread or another threat I started. but I have an Vantage 4-12x40 with the specialized 22 rimfire subsonic plex..

it is absolutely spot on ballistically and for the money the glass is pretty damn good.

as I stated in another thread I'm thinking about buying one with a 4-12x40 or maybe it was by 42 with the Winchester 22 magnum reticle. even after all the replies and consideration on that thread I'm probably going to order another hawke ..

A solid choice.
