Bummer. Twin Cities suburb it might seem from looking at the map?
The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)
Many on the 'fire will rejoice. They are losers that don't have the cajones to do it, but they fantasize about it....(yes steve4102 I'm talking to you, coward)
Being said a woman called it in, 7 children in the home. There is a lot NOT being said. Nephew who is LEO says neighbors aren’t commenting out of fear? Seems odd being the killer is dead.
Osky
A woman's heart is the hardest rock the Almighty has put on this earth and I can find no sign on it.
I just don’t understand, why would someone do that????
I’m praying for the family’s !!!!!!
Ask many of the azzholes around here. They're one too many drinks and their ol lady cheating on them from actually doing what they run their mouth about all the time...
Several Minnesota police officers were shot while responding to a domestic incident in Burnsville near the 12600 block of 33rd Avenue South.
Two police officers and one paramedic were killed.
According to reports, several children were inside the home at the time of the shootout.
SWAT officers were on the scene. The SWAT vehicle had bullet holes in the windshield.
“Several Burnsville police officers were shot — at least two officers and one first responder were killed — while responding to a domestic call.” – Fox 9 reported.
Governor Tim Walz released a statement on the fatal shooting.
“Horrific news from Burnsville. While responding to a call of a family in danger, two police officers and one firefighter lost their lives, and other officers were injured,” said Governor Walz. “We must never take for granted the bravery and sacrifices our police officers and first responders make every day. My heart is with their families today and the entire State of Minnesota stands with Burnsville.”

Its strange that members here laugh and joke and make snide comments when there's a shooting in a KC parade and people died or were seriously wounded but when a few first responders are killed its all different. You can't pick and choose whose death to snear at, death is death. Its only funny to some until it hits their door. I'm sorry for the first responders and their families. Prayers sent.
Bad, bad deal. I find it strange this incident happened at the early hours this morning, and news sources already have articles depicting the victims, complete with pictures less than 12 or so hours later?
Doesn’t it usually take a couple days to notify next of kin, have an official press release, etc. to release the names?
Not to mention the time to write the article, get it cleared by whomever and posted to the ‘net?
This hit home for me as I met many of the firefighters and most of the street cops of that department over the years. I didn't know those that were killed as they were hired after I retired. The other medic I do know and my heart goes out to him. I do not definitively know the name of the wounded officer so cannot make any comment regarding him.
In the brief time I served in law enforcement I hated domestics. I seemed to be a scheidt magnet for problems during them. From that, when I swapped to the fire service I drilled into my crew to give plenty of room and wait for the police to secure the scene before approaching the address. I'm not directly privy to the circumstances of this incident but current news is the medic was shot trying to rescue one of the officers.
Maybe tomorrow I'll hear more direct information but right now I'm going to sit pat and wait. This is kind of disturbing as it is something that shouldn't happen in such a community. It's most definitely not like areas of Minneapolis.
