Rolex sure does set the "upper limit" of cost.. However, when I got my watch back it looked like new.. it is from 1992.. My wife also has one (same vintage) that she wears every day,
and even in the shower!
They are a classy watch.. Yours is very nice.. Best of luck with your sale..

As Knox stated you can get the watch serviced by a independent watchmaker for half the price of a Rolex Service and zero reasons to replace the back case.Nice entry-level rolexJMHO
