It's just an uncured, unsmoked pig hock. I simmer it for a while until it's tender before I add the peas. Ends up sliding off the bones tender. Makes a good broth.

(Noticed robertt is drinking martinis. I'm a bourbon drinker, but my big sister got me hooked on dry gin martinis. Cheers!)

Various dinners from last several days.

Pulled some sauce and meatball mix out of the freezer and had a great dinner, quick. A martini was involved.

Hahaha. Good, albeit cool weekend on the FL gulf coast. Lots of good drinks and seafood. No one was there. It was great.
