Looking for guns in need of refinishing. Ugly, no bluing left, some rust.
Nothing with damaged metal integrity.
Ideally looking for 357, 44 mag revolvers but open to all.

I retired mostly but I have a Full Machine shop to help people out , and build stuff for myself primarily , or buy abused stuff and do restorations. I have lots of Parts still. I can be reached at 58 zero - 743- 5 one 92 . Call from 10 am to Midnite. Text anytime and I'll get back to you ASAP. I do a lot of trading and I have reloading stuff as well. Rich.

Good luck on your search ( and a free bump ). Though it's kind of like walking into a crack house and asking if anyone has any crack they aren't using. When I've asked the only offers are complete piles of crap that someone wants like $800 for. I really do wish you luck. Seems years ago it was easy to find projects.

Those look really nice , That 1895 Marlin came out excellent ! Are you doing any Hot Bluing rifle stuff , Rust Bluing , or just coatings ? Rich

I am just doing Cerakote now. Hot bluing is an art I don’t have time to master.
Cerakote gives the best result for me.
The 1895 made its way into my collection permanently. The dang thing shoots as well as some custom guns I have shot. Staying well under 1 MOA center to center.

Ok , Thanks for that info. I haven't done Cerakote yet , I do some other coatings Like MG Coat and baked Hi-temp coating , Rust Bluing , and small parts hot bluing for now. I need to find or build bigger tanks and burners. Rich

That Marlin looks excellent! I’ve got a Winchester model 94 post 64 that’s waiting to be taken apart and cerakoted. I got it for a steal and other than having a little rattle when the lever is opened up it seems like a solid rifle. Never had a “big boy” lever action before so I’m pretty excited to see how it looks when my gunsmith gets it finished.
