Luckily for Buzz having two functioning testicles is not a prerequisite for catching fish.
Never caught a halibut but my nuts work and I have three kids.

Personally, I hate FW trout. Heavily smoked they are OK... but nowhere near as good a smoked Roundhead or Tanner Blue. Rockfish, Drum, Cobia, Sheephead are also way more fun to catch. We all walk a different path. You walk the path of a parasitic .GOV puke. Most of us do not. I prefer kings and silvers out of the salt, you should buy some at the store to try it. Of course rock fish, halibut, ling cod, p. cod, yellow eye are pretty tough to top. Why I go to AK every year. For pure challenge, steelhead and salmon in fresh water. Idaho kings, landed 93 in the month of June Oh, and the reason you don't like "FW trout" is because you fished them right from a raceway. I'll give you, a white meated pellet fed trout are chit...the ones I catch are a bit different. Out of hear, those fish won't catch themselves... A dozen or so halibut, more salmon and some lings and things on the deck, along with a deck-mounted ice tote...so a pile of charter-caught fish, sold in part to yourself by someone who actually knows what they're doing, indicates what exactly? I too can buy a canned hunt, be driven to a stand, crank on a reel handle make the shot, and have the animal processed by others. Whoop dee doo.

I would reckon that it's fun once a year, for the past 20 years or so to spend 3-4 days a year fishing Alaska? Wouldn't know about your second paragraph?
