Folks,

I've had this on a 6.5x55 for a while. It's not lightweight but it's very sharp and I like the reticle. The scope adjustments are 1/2 MOA "clicks" and they operated in reverse from a Leupold. However, I'm wondering;

1) What are the actual directions those letters mean? Google translate was no help from for up down and right and left.
2) Are the small screws to lock adjustments down or are they "micro adjusters"?

Pugs;
Good evening to you sir, I hope the day went as well as possible for you.

Going off of the theory that Bucuresti is the Romanian spelling for Bucharest - and that's a theory.

Then left is stânga

right is dreapta

up is sus

down is jos

So that might explain the left/right, but not the up down or the smaller ones?

Hope that helps??

Dwayne

Dwanye,

Thank you my friend! That's excellent information and I'm sure you're correct about the letters and respective directions. With that info, I'm guessing that the smaller screw slots are for finer adjustments than the 1/2" clicks on the larger knobs since they also have letters for adjustments.

I'm taking this rifle (a 6.5x55) down to Texas next week for the CF pig hunt. I've had a box of 100 Norma 156gr Vulkans on the shelf for some time and not really bothered with them since the rifle shoots the 120 Ballistic Tip well, and that's a great deer bullet, but knowing the shots in Texas will all be right at 100 yards I thought that it would be a good use for them. I shot some for group and did a gross adjustment last Monday and certainly no complaints accuracy-wise over MRP powder. Since it was 19 degrees when I sighted in here I figure I'll do the fine adjustments in Texas.

Thanks again for the info and have a great pre-friday.

Allen
