Geno, you seem to be very interested in this topic. Are you one of those guys who likes to mess around on people's porches at night?
Someone mentioned it as a high school thing.

We were doing it in our neighborhood long before we got to HS age.

Ah, the good old days before the streetlights were commonplace.

Is it true what they say?

Did you really invent the flaming dog poop trick?

Nope,

the older kids already knew that one.

And the dozen or so frogs down the mail slot in the front door.

I will not admit to other reprisals against the neighborhood grumpy old folks.

Our favorite was bottle rockets, with report. Get a small diameter 3' section of pipe, duct tape one end, hide across the street, and lob one up on the porch.

When I was a kid, the neighbor had an aluminum milk box on the front porch. Milk man would deliver milk, probably 5:30 or 6:00 AM.

We camped out one night and caught an opossum. Put him in the milk box, waited and watched. Pretty funny when he popped the lid to a grinner.

The president said go outside and fire off your double barrel in the air. Probably the most sound advice he has ever given. It would put most people and varmints on the run.

Get a good security system before you need it, instead of after. When I see or hear a coon, possum or armadillo in the yard at night, I turn the dogs loose and they kill it. Always figured if someone shot my dog in my yard it would make their intentions clear.
