WTS: Custom Mauser in .280 Remington (incredible walnut stock) #19237417 02/22/24

OP TX357 Campfire Member T Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 325 Maine	This is an FN made Venezuelan Mauser carbine. Has the original barrel. I had the chamber slugged and found out it has been reamed to .280 Remington. Holds 3 rounds, first round is stiff to load but loading and ejecting the other 2 is smooth. Has a kepplinger set trigger, breaks at 2.5 lbs, set trigger is less than 1 lb. The safety lever cutout is quite an eyesore and should be repaired and recut. Scope is Leupold VX-IIc 3-9x40. This beautiful gun just needs some TLC from someone with the right skills to make it great. $750 shipped with the scope OBO, $650 without. Click image for full gallery.
