Few years ago I bought a brand new weatherby 6 lug walnut stocked 2016 commerative. The first time I took it to the range after firing the first 3 shots the group was way larger than it should be. Started checking things over, noticed the stock was cracked in front of and behind the front action screw to the magazine cutout and about 3" up into the forend. Took it home took pictures, called Weatherby, long story short got totally brushed off by Weatherby. Ended up repair the rifle myself. It is highly unlikely I'll buy another Weatherby after the disappointment of dealing with them. I realize this is Canada and the market is pretty small but if they don't want to stand behind brand spanking new defective product that people pay top dollar for then don't sell up here. I've had far superior service from Kimber here.

I bought a 6 lug Hunter model last year. So far, so good. I like it very much.

Coyote, I handled a Weathermark and I fell in love with it. Very lite and shouldered well. Looking at the web site they discontinued it and replaced it with the Live Wild series. It looks good. I’m a sucker but have thought a new rifle until listening to their podcast and sounds like they are doing good stuff in Wyoming and changed my mind about a new rifle. I always said I wanted a Deluxe in 257 when I retire but I need one now. Lol

I've been seriously thinking about a weathermark in 6.5 rpm or 240. They are pretty dang close to the perfect hunting rifle. I've always been able to shoot those rifles well. I like the stock design.

I bet that Kreiger 30-378 is a blast. I almost bought one, then decided on a plain accu.ark in 6.5x300.

Kicks like a 7mm mag. The only one that gave me an issue was an older Japanese 378 wby with no brake. That one I had to be extra conscious when shooting it.

That's what I have. Yes - it's a fun one, but made for a lot of work for a couple days (shot a 3×4 muley later the same day) grin

That is a very nice collection! The more I read, the poorer I feel! I only have a few rifles, but live them all. Thanks for sharing Fotis, and JGray, nice bull! Love a nice trophy and a walnut rifle pic. They go very well together.

Had you run any factory stuff through it? Curious if that's just one great load, or if it shoots everything pretty well.
