Just got word it’s done. Copied a fellow campfire members order with a tweak. Full flat ground thin stock Magnacut and blade shortened a touch. Sent him a set of Westinghouse cross cut canvas micarta that turned out great. Thin red liners and a leather sheath.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

Nice looking knife. I ordered a skinner and a chef’s knife with desert ironwood scales from him at the beginning of January. At the time he said he had about a 3 month wait and I’m looking forward to hearing from him before too much longer.

Did that ever turn out nice! I like the change you made to the length. I think you will be happy when you get er in your mitts. It’s a small thing, but I really like the aggressive jimping he does on his skinners. It provides a really sure feel. Congrats.

You will love it! Im two seasons in on my custom semi skinner from Chissan. Its also in magnacut. I would post pics but i cant figure out how lol. My knife has an upsweep to the blade similar to a crotts semi and Clint customized my scales to fit my grip perfectly. Fantastic smith to work with. Highly recommended.

I initially ordered from Clint after reading Obsessed1’s reviews. Trust me, his knives get put to use. As well as fondling a boning knife a buddy of mine had made up from him. Now that I own a couple, I am an unabashed fan. I am no expert, but have had a couple Menefees and a Crotts, as well asbquality factory knives, so can speak to a knives quality. Clint’s knives are top shelf.
