I have gotten 6-48 taps through Brownells in the past and have never been impressed with them. Anyone getting them anywhere else? Thanks Jim

I quit getting them from Brownell's. Try MSC, more expensive but Well worth the price. But then again, noticing Brownell's prices....

I buy from them quite a bit. They have nice spiral flute plug taps but I'm looking for the reverse spiral if I can find them. Thanks

Another vote for MSC. They will likely have any type of tap in any size/pitch you would want.

+1 on Reiff & Nestor, they've been in the business since 1908 they control the specs on their tap tighter than any other manufacturer in the industry. More costly but you get what you pay for, seldom have I broken an R & N tap. Try one and the difference will be apparent, greatly reduced effort to turn the tap.
