I believe he is almost completely self taught. The quality of his knives speak for themselves. Here's an expecially nice one that I got from Vince several years ago. It's CPM154 Steel and has really nice Ramshorn scales. As new unused and razor sharp. Very nice walk and talk and I would call it about a 4 to 5 on opening. I'll take $475 shipped.
