Top choices: Tikka/Kimber > Sako > Winchester > Browning.
Not interested in a Savage.

Saw that Montana, most recent sales I’m finding are around or under $1,000.
Trying to avoid a fluted barrel as it will be chopped and threaded at 20”.

I haven’t handled an XBolt in awhile. I recall liking the A-Bolt I handled a little bit more (smoother bolt travel), but sample of one for both and a used A-Bolt vs new X-bolt.

I have an xbolt Speed Ovix, burnt bronze, less than 10 rounds down the tube, have box and Talleys, it is threaded and has a brake from the factory, pm me if interested
There are a lot more ½" rifles than ½" shooters.

I have a lead on a stainless XBolt, don’t really need the Cerakote and extra cost associated with the other features that Speed Ovix offers.

I have a Tikka T3 chromoly 300 WSM that I'd be willing to part with. It's been the absolute best shooting out-of-the-box rifle that I've ever owned, and I thought I'd never sell it, but shoulder issues now make it so I don't particularly care for the recoil anymore.
It has a Limbsaver pad. Otherwise it's stock. PM if interested.

A 380 in my pocket is better than a 45 in my truck!
