I'll eat them on pizza, but as a rule I can live without them.

I don't eat them on pizza, but they wind up in a lot of things I cook via Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.

Oh, yeah!

Pepperoni, jalapeno and anchovy is my favorite pizza. A taste explosion in every bite.

Are they salty, or is that added?

Anchovy and Onion pizza is a favorite, posted a pic of a tray on this forum a couple years ago.

Aglio e olio con alici…..spaghetti with garlic and anchovies sautéed in olive oil is another favorite. I add some hot red pepper seeds when sautéing and top with grated Locatelli Pecorino Romano. Very good with Angel Hair pasta.

My mother always had an anchovy salad for Christmas Eve…..quartered hot cherry peppers with the seeds removed, black olives, a couple cans of anchovies (broken up with the oil), finely chopped garlic and either imported sharp provolone or mozzarella.

Grandmother made Zeppole con alici on Christmas Eve, basically fried dough with anchovy in the center.

I’ll occasionally just open a flat of Cento anchovies and eat more than a few in one sitting.

Yes, I’m very fond of anchovies

Not so much anymore, but have done so in my youth to keep friends from eating my pizza. I do love them in a Ceaser salad.

I like them. I keep a tube of anchovy paste in the refrigerator for adding to gravies and sauces.
Usually by a tin of anchovies when I make ceaser dressing. I use half the tin and eat the rest.I like them on pizza and in tomato sauces.
