My 6mm Arc is a 22" bolt action. Been my favored deer rifle for 3 years now. I hunt with nothing but reloads.
B4 the 6mm ARC bolt gun, the 6.5 Grendel was my favorite deer rifle.

6 ARC is a fun toy, coyotes hate it. Won't be replacing any of my .223's anytime soon, but it's nice to have options and try new things, I say go for it.

Rechambering a barrel doesn’t change the bore/caliber from 6.8mm/.277 to 6mm/.243, you know that right? So, more likely an original chamber in 6mm or a rechamber from 6 ARC to 6/6.8 SPC. This is interesting. Did they rechamber a 6.8 SPC barrel? Is it still an 11 twist barrel? Yep. I know better. Didn't read it thoroughly.

@erickg,
Looks very much like my 6 ARC hunting set up.
16" or 18" barrel? Mine is a 16" and its light and handy.
I also have competition 22" Proof barrel with a Sgt of Arms integrated ARCA rail handguard. It's a hammer, but a bit much for walking around with.
