Cool. Thanks for posting. My experience with 50BMG chambered stuff consists of a few rounds through an AR-50 bolt gun at 200 yards. It was quite an experience and I would do it again if I ever got another opportunity.

It's amazing how mild the recoil is on those guns. I guess it's due to the weight and well designed muzzle brakes.
And even with the muzzle brakes, the guns aren't ear-piercingly loud.
What's the lightest 50 BMG you guys have shot?

I like the one where they skip a round off of an above ground pool.

She's pretty with an adventurist spirit. I've never shot a .50 cal.

I've shot 4 different 50BMG rifles. A couple built off of "shell-holder-bolt" single-shot designs, a Barrett 99 single-shot bolt, and an M82A1. They're fun for a few shots but the big concussion from the brake gets to me pretty quickly. About 10 rounds and I've got to quit or a terrible headache will be along in very short order.

The only 50 cal I have fired was a spotter attached to a 106mm recoilless rifle.
Needless to say, there was no felt recoil!
The blast that followed (when touching off the 106) is remembered to this very day some 48 years later, courtesy of tinnitus.

I have shot an EDM 50 BMG Hard recoil and very unpleasant to shoot more than a couple round. My Girl is a Girl and does not like heavy recoil. That said She would go threw 1000 rounds if I would let her in my AR50 It has less kick than a 12 ga shotgun I have shot the Barret 99 It has a heavier kick than my AR50 But you can still shoot it.
