I've killed everything from Newfoundland Moose to whitetails to a chicken coop raiding housecat with my 340. All one shot kills.... My favorite BIG gun.

I don't know the round count. Balances fine. Recoil is much better than a 300 magnum. I can't friggen stand a 300, but I enjoy shooting the 340. I really don't need magnum rifles or I'd keep it around. Might just keep it just because, but for now it's available.
