Wondering if we have any members in the Miami OK area?

Looking for some local insight.

TIA

I fished for paddlefish in Miami a few times. Saw lots of overweight people in camo. Won $500 at the casino. If I remember, the beer was 3.2.

I see tons of overweight folks in camo all over the place so I don't think Miami is unique that way.

I have a daughter there in college. So I probably can get more beer info from her if need be.

The question is about sourcing a good solid reputable, reliable honest mechanic.

BTW, I did not know that paddlefishing there was a thing.

Sounds like she needs new plugs. Possibly an ignition coil is all. So I would sure hope someone local could handle it.

Otherwise, if it was a more complex issue, I would probably agree.

I’m Joplin-ish but don’t have any good insight on a general mechanic. I’ve used Torq’d on north Main, they could do anything you wanted but they’re more diesel and performance stuff than general car stuff.

Spoonbill fishing in Miami city park brings every redneck for 100 miles. If we could get some rain to get water flowing it would be quite a site.

My used car flipping buddy said this…

“ There’s Karne’s auto and tire in Baxter springs. I haven’t personally had anything worked on there but I know the fedex contractor stepson works for has them service their trucks. Stepson had them put a fuel pump in their Cruze.”

And

“ Other than that, I’ve heard good things about Kevin’s auto on 7th street in Joplin.”
