OP robertham1 Campfire Regular R Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 2,454 California	For sale is a Mauser action in .270 with a barrel of unknown make. I know very little about the rifle, although I’ve had it for 15 years and have never fired it. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions or request specific pictures. $425 plus shipping- as some may or may not want the stock.

If the barrel is factory, it may have a serial number matching the receiver’s on the right side just in front of the receiver ring. You should check the breech for a “C” ring, which would be a raisin in the cookie, so to speak. Odd stock, but a solid rifle. Good luck! 🔝 What fresh Hell is this?

I personally never ran across 1 with a military safety on it, but it could've been added at some point for who knows what reason. One is alone in a land so vast, there is only the mountains, the wind, and the eyes of God.

A 270 win case will fit in the bolt face and also chamber. A 7 mag case, which shares the same case head as a 270 weatherby, won’t fit into the bolt face. Last edited by robertham1; 02/28/24.
