Project where 7x57 being made up for daughter using a 1909. Ideas is a trim svelte rifle. Thinking about having the safety engraved with Safety and Fire, an oval with initials in the buttstock, and some engraving on the screws. Not sure about last part so thought an engraved crossbolt might be a nice touch. Has anyone had a crossbolt or screws engraved before? Pics? Thanks!

Seen em, never bothered to take pics. It should match with any other engraving on the rifle.

Not easy to make a " trim svelte rifle" starting with a 1909 action. A small ring action would suit a 7x57 much better.

Haven’t we been seeing Eleanor O’Connor’s rifle of late around? That seemed to have come out pretty trim.
