I’ll share mine of my attempt to make Mt Leconte in SMNP. Beautiful to say the least. I intended to go up alum cave way, but Hwy 441 has been closed. So went up Rainbow falls. That distance must be as the crow flies… 😂😂 Rainbow falls… Farther up the was ice. Black ice… I busted my butt a couple times. I chickened out the last little bit to mt leconte. I had past the .6m to leconte sign. Don’t know how close i was. Ice was bad and i was by myself… I had intended to make the rainbow Falls / bullhead loop.
