If you were trying to start a civil war, would you do anything differently? They could start it much sooner if they tried. Maybe that little warning bell in the back of what brains they have left is ringing in the hollow space?

Well, if the Republican party would just put up a half-decent candidate, we'd elect him/her. The last election was painful because there simply wasn't a good choice on the R side. Those of us who vote R had to settle, but those who can be convinced to vote either party really didn't have a choice.
