Local nursery should have, or be able to advise, varieties that do well in your zone.

For the normal stuff I prefer to buy local.
For my wildlife orchard, I've had very good luck with Willis Orchard for Dolgo Crab Apples and Arkansas Blacks.

We buy local. Costco had a spring sale for the last couple of years, bought a number of apple trees (saplings) from them.

I have used Nativ Nurseries with mixed success. My issue is I plant them and can rarely get back to water them. So drought years end up being a lost cause usually. This year trying Mexican plums and some hybrid oaks. Still want to try a few pear trees, like keifer(sp?) or something like that.
