John Cornyn is just a Democrat that calls himself a Republican. Cornyn is the Texas version of Mitt Romney. He certainly does not represent his constituents and needs to be replaced ASAP. I have written to him multiple times with no response to the questions I asked. His only response was a form letter. This told me how much he listens to the people he supposedly represents.

Cornyn fancies himself a leader. Being a representative is beneath a man of such intellect. The hoi polloi would do well to acquiesce to his statesmanship.

The problem we've had with John Cornyn is in the past nobody has been able to run against him. McCain/Feingold is truly the "incumbent protection act". He has a huge war chest mostly from liberals and the past GOP supported him. The tide in changing. If he ran tomorrow I think 75% of Texans would vote for ken Paxton to replace him. Writing to him does no good. You get a form letter exclaiming how marvelous he is. I'll support a lot of people to replace McConnell but not Cornyn. No to sending Paxton off to D.C. He's right where we need him and is doing a lot more for Texas as Atty Gen. than he would as a Senator. There's other qualified people who can fill Cornyn's shoes. And, btw, Will Hurd AIN'T one of them...
