That gun gets a ticket to the Pass-O-Rama.

Hard pass. The recoil pad kills it for me. Who needs a pad on a .243 anyway?

The pad is a shame.. surprised somebody didn't buy it anyway. Hard gun to find, and if you want one to hunt with ya gotta grab what comes around.

Not for me.
Surprised it didn't sell though...

If it was a 99R, it probably would have sold.

For collecting purposes, the pad hurts it. For hunting purposes I like the pad. I’ve got a 300 sav EG with a pad and another 300 sav E without a pad. I hardly shoot the one without the pad as it pounds my shoulder too much at the range. The one with the pad is much more enjoyable to shoot. It’s my fav deer hunting rifle.

I have a hypothetical question: Suppose I "make" a 243 F by putting a 243 F barrel in an E receiver, add the round counter and F wood. Would such a concoction be worth about what this one is, say just south of $1000?
