I am in Dallas for a couple of weeks. Any good gun stores that I should visit?

McClelland Gun Shop used to be over in mesquite. East side of Dallas. They were pretty decent back in the day. Ron Coleman was a first class gunsmith back years ago. Different part of town. At one time he was the premier shotgun smith about anywhere. Don't know if he's still kicking.

If time to kill, Scheels is worth a few hours.

Beretta Gallery in Highland Park Village ^--- Yes. I still have my Beretta ballcap I bought there a few years ago - it was the only thing I could afford in that place! LoL!!

Another vote for Rays. I haven't been there in a few years but it's worth a trip.

https://defenderoutdoors.com/shooting-center/In Fort Worth, so may be a little far, depending on where you are staying. The gun selection was good but nothing special. Lots of handguns and ARs. The best part was the indoor range. They have a couple dozen lanes and very reasonable gun rentals. I wandered in one day looking to kill some time when I was in FW for work. I spent about $100 and had 2 hours of fun shooting multiple handguns, several of which cost as much as my truck.

I hit up Ray’s on Tuesday and found some good stuff. I was surprised to see some 223 WSSM ammo and even some 243WSSM brass and 6.5-284 brass. My wallet left a bit lighter.
