I have a chance to trade for a Winchester 70 Featherweight in 7mm-08, one of the models with controlled round feeding. Not sure how old the rifle is, but its certainly not a new production. Its easily in 90+%, beautiful bluing with a really nice wood stock and aftermarket/grind to fit black recoil pad.

Rough value?

Price is what someone will pay so I'm not saying this price is a indicator either direction. But I recently paid $1050 for a early 5 digit serial number controlled round feed FWT 7mm-08, with the red pad that I'd say is very good condition with a couple minor wood marks. Was told the early 5 digits are more desirable and the 7mm-08 is hard to find in that. Don't know where that lands price wise with the one you are looking at.

I’d pay a $1000 for a nice one if I was in the market
