Have a LH Model 70 458 Win Mag that started out as an unfired LH Model 70 7 Rem Mag, CRF . Barrel and stock were removed and an unfired Winchester LH 375 H&H Classic Super Express barrel installed and a LH Safari Express stock. The 375 H&H barrel was bored and chambered to 458 Win Mag and the action squared up and checked for cartridge feed and ejection. The barrel has original Classic Super Express iron sights. The stock was glass bed to the action.and has a one piece PTG aluminum bottom metal. All work was performed by Randy Selby of Cody, Wyoming. Rifle has Warne scope mounts and has sat in my safe since and has not been fired. Brass/bullets and dies are available and can be purchased separately.

Price is 2000$ plus shipping to your FFL.

If I thought I would ever use it, I'd buy it. Appears very nicely done. Free bump for fellow lefty.

Very nice. If there are any left handers out there itching to go to Africa or even AK for the big bears, this would be a great one to have. Good luck on your sale!

Me too! It would really be nice if another lefty would buy this thing so I can stop looking at it & sighing wistfully. I really really like my Winchester Model 70 Safari Express LH in 375 H&H a lot. So much so that whenever I see another LH Winchester M70 of any caliber, it's like a Siren's song tempting me to spend more money. Whether I need it or not is irrelevant (I already have a Ruger M77 MkII in 458 WM). I always want to add another Winchester to my small collection. It's a problem... grin

PS - The fact that it's blued with a walnut stock is not helping me to ignore it at all. wink

:

My sentiments exactly! I had at one time 2 lh M70 .375s and toyed with the idea of having one opened up to .458. In the end couldn't bring myself to alter one and sold the NIB Safari Express. Now this one appears.....ARG!! cry GLWYS bump
