Before heading to work today I emailed a co-worker and asked him specifically to "configure a couple of network switches" so I could deploy them at one of our buildings today.
After arriving at the office later in the morning the conversation went something like this....
<Millennial> co-worker: "So how many switches do you need ; two?"
Me: "I need a couple," (already mentally predicting what was coming next...)
Co-worker, quizzically: "Sooooo, is that two?"
Me: "Tell you what; this evening when you go home to your girlfriend make sure to take along another woman. Tell your girlfriend that the three of you are now a 'couple', then get back to me and let me know how many switches I need."
Anyone wanna guess how many switches he decided to configure?
