Haley got what she needed. She won VT and DC, she now has 89 Delegates and two victories.
She can now suspend her campaign and just sit and wait hoping that something, or someone removes Trump from the race.
She can then un-suspend her campaign and lobby for the nomination at the Convention.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

Which says all that needs to be said... Saying Dems live her is a stretch. The Republicans in the places she won are largely RINOs. She got the Anti-Trump vote. Being an open primary, she also cashed in on the Anti-Biden vote we are seeing in other elections. Hellfire, 1/3 of Dems voting for “ No one else” instead of the shatting president! Those wins aren’t the same as support.

A good percentage of Haley’s votes came from Democrats that crossed over in states that allow this type of primary.
If the Democrats were holding a real primary of their own, as they did in 2020 and 2016, the Democrat voters would have been much more likely to stay on their side of the aisle and vote for their favorite Democrat instead of fuqking with the Republican ticket.
If that were the case, Haley’s support would have dropped by at least half, maybe more, much more.

I just went on line and checked the Arkansas results. President Trump got 59% of the Republican votes in Pulaski county (Little Rock) and between 80% and 90% across the rest of the state. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

She is going to hold off endorsing Trump, which in her position is the right move, but not a particularly impactful one.
She will hope to leverage her endorsement with either a position in Trump's cabinet or some advantage to set her up in 2028. It would be funny if he made her the Ukranian Ambassador and gave her nothing to work with.
What she also has to do however is win over Trump's base who pretty much despise her. So you're going to see Nimrod do what many politicians in Trump's orbit do - they're going to change their positions.
I suspect by 2028, Haley will be anti-war, anti-immigration, blah, blah, blah - but with softer tones so she can back pedal should she make it to the general election.
It won't work but what it will do is give her a chance to spend 1/4 of a billion dollars on campaigning and filling her bank account during the process.
