Wife's uncle pickled some last year with horseradish in the jar. Tasted awesome, but no level of Scent Killer or Scent Lock was gonna save anyone within 50' of me the next day....

Usually dig mine in Wva. I'd say lower elevation they're just starting. One good thing about there we can dig from March to early June just changing elevation.
