Killed one deer at 110 yards with it, deer died, didn't recover bullet. Shoots silly good for me with 57gr of IMR-4350 in my 270 Winchester, just a hair under 3300fps.

I gotta try that! Sounds like the ticket to me.
That's got to be a flat shooting, easy recoiling little screamer.
What twist barrel are you running?

I've been told that the .270's no good for anything? You missing some learning ? DN

I imagine it's 1:10, although I've heard (or read somewhere) of some 270's that are 1:12.
Glad it's stabilizing those pills so well, and thanks for the load info, to which we all should (of course) work up slowly...grin.

Don't have it here, powder is IMR-4831. I also like RL19 with the 140's.

If I had a .270 that I hunted with -- I believe 110 TSX's would be a good ticket to ride. If my experience with 120's on both sides of the .277 divide sheds any light... .

My old 270 Win Mdl 70 that I got back in 1952 dident need any Barns TSX bullets to put down pronghorns, mule deer, and elk but it would be fun to see what the 110 Gr bullet would do out pronghorn hunting.

trophytaker-I've used the .270 since the mid 70's and have done a fair amount of work on both rodetia and big game with most all bullet weights.
The 90's-110's have done me very well over the last 3 decades. I've seen enough deer/lopes taken with the lil Sierra 90 to know that the 110 TSX will do one just fine as well.
3200 is a snap and I've found that for the most part 3300 is the top end.
I've shot the 110 TSX with H4821 and it ran very well.
Bottom line, what a 25/06 will do with a 100 TSX the 270 will do with the 110 TSX. And that is very good company.
Not much in this world I wouldn't take on with the 110 TSX and if I needed more it would be a lot more.

I tried them in a 270 WSM - had them loaded by superior ammo so I dont know the powder used or amount - have one load that will shoot sub-MOA groups. Have not had a chance to chronograph them yet but I am guessing around 3300-3400FPS!
