That song sucks though no matter who sings it. Abso-freakin-lutely!!!!!! I could never stand Brooks & Dunn. Don’t know why. George Strait is ok. Waylon could take em all in a cage match tho.

I met George Strait one time. Maybe ten years back he hired us to fire a volley to start a Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament at his (then) Tapatio Springs Golf Resort. I stood next to him on the buffet line, made conversation. Seemed like a good guy, my son has had him as a customer sometimes where he works, says the same thing. He’s only about my height which was a surprise. well George Strait is the king hands down. but that particular song was done by Brooks & Dunn originally and that's a good indicator that particular song works for them best and that's the version people are use to hearing.
