Leupold made these mounts back in the 1950's-70's era. It's all original from the early 1960's I suspect, there's no zip code on the paperwork, I think that's pre 1963.

It was the original "Scout Scope" set-up that was later expanded on by Cooper and others, it allows using a scope on top eject Model 94's without drilling the frame. The mount is secured in the rear sight dovetail on one end and the other end secures to a hole you are to drill in the top of the rear barrel band.

I am including the rear barrel that I drilled and tapped so you can leave yours original should you wish to switch back.

Leupold incorporated a small peep sight into the base to use with the scope released by the quick locking levers.

A really nice setup for aging eyes. It depends on the gun but I got 2" groups @100yds with mine.

The scope exterior has some dings and marks but the glass is good, no scratches, the scope functions perfectly.

If you have a top eject M94, especially a pre-64, might make sense for you.

$375 shipped to US.

Here's what they look like installed (stock photo, not for sale).

That's too cool for school. I actually thought about buying this and then looking for an old 94 to mount it on. What a gem. GLWYS, Recoil Rob

They are pretty cool. I bought an extra barrel band to D&T and kept my original. That's the extra I'm including.
