A couple of years ago I was fostering a Boingle (half GSP, half Beagle) and ended up just keeping him. He kind of grew on me, like a fungus. Actually after fostering him for a couple of months I decided there is no way the average person will be able to handle this heathen dog. Whoever thought it was a good idea to mix a GSP with a Beagle should have their head examined. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/gallery/80/full/250195.jpg)

Awfully stout looking... I bet he can take a hard day of running and just shake it off and do it again tomorrow....
Well... we have come to the point.... where... the parasites are killing the host. It's only a matter of time now.

2 weeks after I got him he got away from me and took off after a deer I think and spent the next 13 days roaming 3 counties. I probably spent $800 bucks in gas looking for him. Then he showed up on the back porch at 2am.

My dog free runs out in the fields when I'm working out there. He is well behaved on recall. I haven't needed it, but I use a Tractive GPS. Cheap place of mind.

Mornin, some of the best dogs I had were mungrels some not so much. Had a black & tan coon hound that would run deer, coyotes & rabbits. Would tongue different for each. She was crossed with something because she had short ears. Would take them up the trap line with me & if she didn't find anything to run she always new were this one rabbit hung out & would go find it & i would have to stay in the truck & wait till she was done!!!
