But, I hope you get to retire to East TN like you want to. I can tell you’re cost conscience on your build and you should be. Take this advice. Be your own GC or even if you must hire a GC , do this. If a conflict comes up where you think you’re being taken advantage of. Stand up for it like it was your first piece of regular, good pussy. Years ago I read somewhere what the estimated cost to the public and private sector was from this insane time change. It was mind boggling. Every legislative sessions bills are introduced to suspend it but they never get passed. What the hell’s behind this insanity. Much like man made global warming .

I don’t like changing. Pick one and stop the ridiculous changes!!!😡 It's all an illusion! My opinion? Go back to standard time ⌚ and leave it there! I don't mind getting up early, having breakfast and going out to work in the yard/garden. We always ate right after dark. The rest of the evening was family time, bath time, TV time, time to visit friends or date a special someone. Back then, 9:00PM was bedtime.....whether you went to sleep or not! DO NOT make mom come get you out of bed after 6:00AM! BTW! We ate at 12:00PM sharp. Afterwards, everybody took about a 30 minute nap, then it was back to the garden, yard, barn, etc, etc..... Dad planted 4 acres of corn (yellow dent) every summer. He had a 2 row planter! My sister and me! Made many a mile with a bucket of seed, dropping one kernel at a time! You had to regulate your gait to thumbing the seed out of your fist to drop a seed every 6 inches or so.
