I have a newer Win Model 70 with a 26" 8 twist barrel throated for 195 Berger EOL hunting bullets.
Anybody using this bullet in your 7 Mashburn? Load data suggestions?

I think our late friend BobinNH had one. Perhaps search for those old threads for data.

That's what I saw with H1000 and Returmbo using CCI250's and reformed Nosler cases.

Bob was a Nosler partition guy when he wasn’t using a BBC bullet. Doubt he ever loaded anything heavier than a 175gr.

Mechanics matter. Hint.
Winchesters suffer HORRIBLY in COAL. Adding case length to a 7mm RemMag,is a Model 70 Goat Fhuqk. Hint.
RPM means nothing, when COAL is absent. The Mashburn simply robs COAL and has no answer for same. Go 700 and never look back. Hint.
Just sayin'..............

Glad to see that a 9 twist barrel will work with a bullet that long and heavy!
