350 Remington mag, I fixed the trigger guard whoever did the trigger replacement didn’t assemble it right so mag box was pushing down on it and bowed it out pretty good. I got it back together and now it’s not noticeable. I need to buy a new rib for it, original is cracked. This one was made in 65.
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

You know it’s gonna rip your shoulder off? ……At least that’s what I’ve read on the ‘net. 😁
Try 200 grain Hornadys and H4895.

loud in 350 and lots of flash but not punishing. but mine is in an old brown precision stock and that might make big difference . never shot it with factory stock but did come in the trade.

You’ll love that rifle. Mine only liked full power 250 grain loads.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

I’d love to find a 600/660/Mohawk in 308….at a reasonable price.

I picked this one for a good price. $1000 bucks plus 60rds of factory ammo. They guy I got it from said he was pretty sure it has never been shot.

I’ve had maybe 6 660’s/600 Mohawk’s in 308. Friends got all of them. I found one more at the Tulsa show last year. One of my kids will have to decide what to do with it I suspect when I’m pushing up daisy’s. Friends can find there own. I had a 222 for a short time and the 350 for a very long time.
My first elk hunt was in Idaho and I carried a 308 Mohawk 600. Everyone else carried something with a belt in it.
I only changed out one floor plate and that was on the 350. That rifle was used and I liked it a lot when I was young. That 350 had a trigger that was modified by guys in the custom shop.

A few years ago when I was rebarreling my 600 I put aluminum bottom metal on it I came across someone doing aluminum ribs, sorry I cant remember the name.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.
Make mine a Minaska
