I meant that that's why guys see a hot teacher accused of this, and remember back when they were in high school fantasizing about it, so tend not to have hatred in their hearts for the teacher due to that. Obviously, it should still be treated as a crime.

Teachers shouldn't be having sex with junior high students regardless of the sex of the teacher or student. That said I doubt I would have been scared much if one of my hot teachers would have had sex with me when I was in the 8th grade. But that doesn't mean it is right and dang sure is a illegal. Pretty stupid actually.

Graduated HS in 1976. It was pretty common knowledge that at least 2 female teachers were banging male students. At least 2-3 male teachers were banging female students. It's never been that uncommon, just not talked about as much.
Nobody much cared, and no lives were ruined by it. Not saying it was right, just that it isn't anything new. And not just teachers. The age of consent used to be as young as 12 in many places and a LOT of girls were married by 13 or 14 in my parents' generation.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
