I had tilled my yard up a few weeks back to get rid of invasive Torpedo grass. He's the guy that got me into bicycling in the mid 90's. I hadn't seen him in 28 years. It sounded like 2 different reports. A few minutes later, Jefferson Parish SO units came blasting by. Throwing sod is a good workout. Last time I did it, I think it was 9 pallets. Haven't done it since.

Don't run your sprinklers all night- you can over do watering.

Sod has gotten crazy expensive down here. I bought several pallets several months ago to redo a yard at a rental house I just sold last Friday. Couldn't believe how much it's gone up. A decent price is $225/pallet plus delivery.
