Something has to give on SS and other entitlements.
I'll take 1/5 of what I've put in, in a lump sum. The .gov can have the rest and I'll never take a cent from it.
They have to do something. I suspect means testing shortly.

Ftr....I don't have a problem with boomers.
I spent all my time growing up with my Grandpa who was born in 22.
Dad was born in 44 and mom in 45.
My other grandmother I spent a lot of time with was born in 10.
There were no kids out here. I grew up with and am still very comfortable around old people.
Having said that....it is fun to throw some of the " damn kids and their rock and roll music" back at you old sonsabitches!

First, I'm not blaming any individual or group. I think the real problem start in the sixties when it became necessary for both spouse to work to maintain the household, and, hence, the children became "wards" of the "state" by default. Now, after 2-3 generations of kids being "educated" by the state, look what they have produced. Until (may never happen) we can get back to the one income household nothing will change.
