Yes, it's an RR action. The bore looks really good just eyeing down it. I bought it as a donor but hate to tear apart a 7-08 when I have 243s I can tear down. Unless someone is looking for the same gun in a 243 then I'll tear this down.
I bought it to put a 17" criterion remage in 6.5 Creedmoor on the action. Then I bought a sig cross instead so the criterion and the donor gun are for sale.
I do have another just like it in 243 I picked up for a donor too.

Don't be scared of the RR deals. I got 2 of them and both rag hole. Matter of fact the cdl 25-06 will shoot 5 in a rag hole with 117s. GLWS.

Yeh, I have a couple RR 700’s. Good shooters.

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

The RR serial numbered 700's shoot just as good, if not more so, than any other 700.

I believe I have one just like it in 243 too. The 243 is in better shape. Actually IIRC the 243 is still NIB and I think it came with a cheap 3-9 scope as a package but I took the scope off so the rifle took less room in the safe.
I'd like to keep one or the other unless I can sell that 17" criterion remage 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. If I don't sell the barrel I'll put it on one of these actions and drop it in my mdt lss and see how it shoots even though I already have my Creedmoor bases covered.
Lots of interest in the 7-08 so far so I probably won't be selling the 243.
Thanks, Bb
