I'm all for free Enterprise but people buy into marketing and "coolness" at any cost. They never look at the details of a company. Designer coffee is just another scam to separate rubes from their money.

Anytime someone takes only part of a spreadsheet or graph and uses it I’m skeptical. This is obviously the same case. Statistics never lie, but liars use statistics. I can’t remember where, but this has been addressed by Hafer somewhere. I’m not a BRCC fanboy by any means, but I’m not a fan of misguiding people, either.

I have no idea in the case of Black Rifle but its a not an unheard of practice for employers to encourage employees to donate and then reimburse the employee in some way as a way of masking a contribution. In some cases to get around contribution limits.
I had a employer offer to reimburse me about 20 years ago on a $100 to a guy running for office. I told him to keep his reimbursement and wrote a check on my own behalf. I was voting for the guy anyway.
