This isn’t an argument about the safety/security issue, that’s the smokescreen.
This is an argument about whom will profit from TT, the folks on the “leave it how it is” side who’ve already been paid, or, the people on the ban/sell it side who want to get paid.

I dont use tiktok, nor do I let my child use it either. That said, I have no issue with it and the only reason its being demonized in the gov, is because its an unregulated space that people can share info and we cant have that. The guy that owns it is not even from China. If the gov is involved, always look for the answer to why. It aint to help or protect you
